65k base, 2.5k signing bonus, 0-10% year end bonus, 20 days pto. Been an intern since last summer (stayed on part-time during school). I've been interning in corporate finance for the past 2 years, with manpowergroup for the past year, #corpfinance #fpa making $18/hr. What do you guys think?
Good for a starting salary, but after a few years, you should make sure to look externally for Senior level roles
Thank you for your response. I'm learning to code during my last semester, do you think there's better jobs for applying myself/and for more tc?
medicine, nurse anesthetist, surgeon
That is a great starting salary! Especially for your location and role! Congratulations!
I think that’s great especially in the Midwest. If it were NY or Bay Area I think 70k would be the lower end of the range.
For location, this is fine. Start TC chasing after you have a few years under your belt. Use this time for a part time MBA or CPA if you plan to stay in corporate finance
MBA if you like the management side of things. CPA is you like the nitty gritty.
This is a great starting salary
I think that might be good for your area not far from starting financial analyst in my Area and I’m assuming this is undergrad??
Yeah pretty standard entry level FA offer, even better in LCOL area
I’d say that’s in range, I graduated 2020, work as an analyst in Finops, I started with 65k TC and now have a Tc of 80k. Location is in Dallas so probably similar. If you love the company and think it’s a good fit then stay!
For that location that's a solid starting salary/bonus.
Forgot to mention, but Milwaukee, WI.
